We stand for you to inculcate the quality of your living standard
Action Unity Lanka is a local non-governmental organization with its head office in the Batticaloa District. The organization works in many parts of the country, targeting vulnerable and deprived children and communities.
The main activity of this organization is the Sponsorship Program which is done in the Batticaloa and Mullaithivu districts, and most of the funding is from ChildFund.

Health and Nutrition
AU Lanka concentrates on giving the best they can to children. Among them, we provide quality ECD centers and train parents and caregivers.
Children's Education
A basic human need that is sadly lacking in many areas. Many children suffer as a result. Au Lanka is working hard on providing clean water and basic sanitation facilities to schools and communities.
Skill development
We help children to improve their social skills and leadership strategies through vocational training and seminars.
Child Protection
AU Lanka helps alleviate poverty and build a sustainable society for the next generation.
Livelihoods Support
We support making a sustainable livelihood in society and getting raise people’s living, and social standards.
Community Empowerment
AU Lanka has started Go Green interventions through youths in Vavunatheivu. The photos show that with good technical support & proper guidance youths are willing to engage in Agriculture related activities.
Water and Sanitation

Early Childhood Care Development
Covid 19 Hygiene Education Program - This program targeted 158 parents / caregivers who attend the ECCD centers with their children and was held in collaboration with of MoH-Vavunathivu and Preschool Education Breau-Batticaloa.
Woman’s Wing
Women are the leading role in society. AU Lanka supports women to develop their soft skills, knowledge and capacities, social status, and self-employment.
Differently Abled Corner
Skill identification is a different skill. We support to make equal opportunities to improve the skills of a differently abled community.

Action Unity Lanka (AUL) is a longtime valued partner of ChildFund Sri Lanka. Our partnership goes back to 2011 and has been strengthened over the years. We are glad to see that AUL has learned, grown and expanded their area of work. ChildFund contributes to AUL to make a meaningful contribution to the health, education, safety and skills of children and youth from birth till they are 24 years. After joining ChildFund, I had the opportunity to meet the AUL team and visit the program areas. I am impressed to meet the confident children in Child Resource Centers, and to see how skilled and empowered youths are initiating their own group enterprise and at the same time making meaningful contribution to the society.
