The Covid pandemic has had a negative impact on nearly all field of activity, but the one sector that moved forward in, leaps and bounds during the pandemic was the Information Technology sector. IT plays a massive role in bringing information and awareness to the people in today’s world, and it was an invaluable tool during lockdowns and quarantines. AUL stepped in with programs to support youths to improve their IT skills as well as to provide awareness the safe use of mass media. Some of the positive results have been public awareness on self-protection measures during the pandemic also youth engaged in creating posters, videos and short films which were shared on the mass media platform.
